Eggless Cinnamon rolls – without Yeast

Serving: 8 rolls

Time: 1 hour max

All Purpose Flour ā€“ 2 1/2 measuring cup of all purpose flour
Powdered Sugar – 1/4 measuring cup of sugar
Baking Soda – 1 1/2 teaspoon
Baking Powder – 1 teaspoon
Honey – as you like
Cinnamon Powder – as you like
ChocoChips – 1 – 2 cups
Raisins – as you like
Milk – 1/4 teacup
Buttermilk (chaach) – 1 teacup (preferably 1 day old)

How to make:

  1. Add flour and sugar in a bowl, gently mix (you can add an egg if you want to make it more soft)
  2. Add baking soda and baking powder
  3. Add butter 2 – 4 spoons of melted butter
  4. Add milk and buttermilk slowly while kneading the dough
  5. The dough should not be very sticky or tight
  6. spread the dough on flat slab and roll it into a flat thin rectangle
  1. Brush the flat dough with melted butter and honey
  2. Now sprinkle as much cinnamon you will like, add raisins and chocochips
  3. Fold the dough into a cylindrical shape and cut it into 8 pieces
  1. Bake the cut pieces for about 15 minutes
  2. Brush them with glaze and bake for another minute or 2

Prepare the baking tray

  1. Brush with melted butter
  2. Keep the cut pieces at 2 inch distance from each other

Prepare Oven

  1. PreHeat the oven at 180 C.
  2. Bake it for 15 – 20 minutes at 180 C keeping an eye.
  3. The cinnamon rolls should be brownish and soft.

DONT OVERBAKE (please read about your oven baking temperatures prior to making these)
