AMMA WAALA MASALA CHAAS

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 1/4 cup – Coriander chopped finely
  2. 1 tbsp – Ginger chopped finely or grated ginger
  3. 2 – Green chillies chopped finely
  4. 10 – Mint leaves
  5. 1 cup – Boondi to top the chaas
  6. Salt/black salt – As Required
  7. 1 tsp – roasted cumin seeds/powdered
  8. 1 cup yogurt/chaas bottle from local milkman
  9. 1 glass water/icecubes

FORMULA:

  1. Churn the yogurt with a glass of water or 4 -5 icecubes – depends what consistency you are looking for
  2. Add the salt
  3. Put in the green chillies and mint leaves
  4. Churn slowly and add the finely chopped coriander
  5. Now add powdered cumin seeds powder
  6. Pour into metal glasses and top with boondi
  • Fresh Chaas can be ordered from the milkman
  • Black salt can be replaced with Himalayan salt
